CLASSIC CAR MECHANIC

We are seeking a qualified Classic Car Mechanic to join our team. You will be expected to maintain the highest level of automotive repair skills, knowledge, and skills. You must be able to diagnose and repair vehicles of all makes and models as well as perform preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical knowledge (e.g. can you do the following; along with diagnosing what is wrong, doing an LS swap or installing a Sniper Kit?).

Some of the general skills that are required in this position include… 

• At least 5 years of experience working with classic cars

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Good mechanical skills including experience in diagnostics & problem-solving

• Good concept of priorities as they relate to repairs

• In-depth knowledge of classic car mechanics, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, fuel systems, suspension/frame swaps, electrical systems, HVAC systems

• General knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, replacement, repair/restoration, and modification of new OEM and used components

• Comfort with custom modifications, brake system upgrades, complete rewiring, engine/transmission rebuild, engine performance upgrade, EFI swaps, AC add-ons, and more

• Inspect engines, transmissions , electrical systems etc and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

• Keep logs of work and report on issues

• You will be responsible for ensuring functionality after repairs

• Verify updated systems are safe and working correctly

• Build and assemble components according to requirements

• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability

• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines

• Very good communication skills

• Very good physical strength and stamina

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, some flexibility available

• Ability to commute/relocate: Lynnwood 98087: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

• Pay Depends on Experience.
